Womens' Stories, series 3 These paintings are of abstract figurative women surrounded by colored layers representing prejudice and stereotypes. Many are preconceived ideas they don’t know they posses. Each figure is trying to escape the structure and color that’s been part of their lives. There is motion in and around the figures showing the women reaching out to free themselves and follow their passions. These paintings are created with acrylic and mixed media on canvas.
